Here's three blue Sept. bloomers: Bottle Gentian, Heart-leaved Aster and Tall Bellflower (bloomed for 10 weeks) On 9-30 garden club members removed invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle to get ready for our 2021 Duncan Creek project. Good job done!
March 12, 2020 6:30 p.m. Lafayette Town Hall 5765 197th St Chippewa Falls WI Presenter of Lake Wissota Garden Club Barb B will describe how the Healthy Lakes program helps improve habitat and water quality with simple and inexpensive projects property owners can do such as native plantings, rain gardens, rock infiltration and water diversion. Goals are to improve wildlife habitat and natural beauty plus slow, divert, clean and filter water runoff. This program enhances LWGC objectives of encouraging home and community beautification, promoting good horticultural and environmental practices and encouraging all forms of conservation.
